The meaning behind this shirt holds a very special place in my heart, and here's why. One of my best friends is a police officer, not just any police officer, but the kind who has won multiple life-saving awards and has created a charity (Ladies in Blue) that empowers women through fashion. She is an officer who puts her heart and soul into her work. It is not just a job to her, but rather a passion for helping other people. She has always been an inspiration to me in how she can be such a badass and so sincere and empathetic at the same time.

One day we were having a conversation after a really hard day she'd had, and she said, "I just want to be someone's light on their darkest days." She was referring to how she has the ability to show up for victims when they are going through potentially the hardest/most traumatic time in their lives.

I thought that was the most beautiful/inspiring saying, so I jotted it down in my notes so I would never forget it. Fast forward three years later - I was trying to think of inspirational sayings that had meaning to me, and that saying Michel Wilson had said came to my mind, and I thought it would be perfect for a shirt. A shirt that can be used as a reminder to be the light for people when they are going through a hard time, but also if you're going through a dark time, remember to always find some light.

I am so excited to announce the "in my self-love era tee." I am going through some transitions in life, or maybe it is just my age, but it makes me realize how important it is to love yourself, like truly love who you are at your core. I am so proud to finally be able to say, I do love myself, and the woman I've grown into. It has taken so much work, and it's work that never ends, but I am so grateful for my kindness, my heart, my intentions, and my willingness and passion to help others.

Two years ago I would have been mortified to say that out loud. It is so taboo for a female to express love for herself and who she is. Let's change that because part of the self-love journey is learning that people's opinions of me are none of my business.

I have created all my tees to be worn as daily reminders of your intentions throughout the day. Each morning, take a moment to reflect on what you hope to achieve, how you want to show up for yourself and others, and the impact you wish to make. Remember, with positive intention, you're always one step closer to the person you dream of being. Much love 🤍

What if everyone believed this? Like, truly believed in their heart of hearts they deserved all the love, happiness, and success? I think the world would be a better place.

Recognizing your worth makes you stand taller, speak louder, and chase dreams without hesitation.

So, how do we get there? ONE STEP AT A TIME.

Our first step is not breaking promises to ourselves. Even the small ones that seem worthless, have a big impact if you keep them. Let's start here, make a list of a few promises you want to complete throughout your day. Don't do too many, start small. An example of mine are....

1. Make my bed
2. Do my positive visualizations/gratitude/prayer
3. Drink 80oz of water with minerals
4. Do some form of body movement
5. Eat a fat, carb, and protein at every meal

Now every time you complete a promise to yourself - sit in it with gratitude, smile to yourself, be proud, and acknowledge your commitment to a better life.

You're one step closer to a version of you that you've only prayed for. Who is in with me?
