We are truly feeling the Summer Heat here in Oceanside because every week brings us banger after banger here at The Comics Stronghold! This week is your chance to check out the hottest new title from DC Comics as returns with all new printings of issue 1 as well as the highly anticipated second issue! Plus, celebrates 600 issues with a special new release featuring a mix of All-New Content by some rad special guests as well as some of the greatest hits of MAD's past! And then, Marvel Comics continues to feed the hype for Spider-Man Brand New Day with the release of : Long Way Home alongside the next installment in the latest batch of ...? This time we explore the timeline where became the host for Spidey's Symbiote Suit. Gun Honey and Hellboy return, Lobo takes on Supergirl, and the Energon Universe is back in stock! All of this and more is waiting for ya today!

Earth's Mightiest Day is upon us! For those unaware, June 16th is in which we celebrate all of our favorite characters, stories and creators from the world of Marvel Comics! This year, has decided to roll out all new Mystery Bags to celebrate the history of one of the most iconic villains in all of comics as we prepare for his debut in Avengers later this year, and they sent us a Retailer Exclusive "Thank You" Version that we thought we'd open along with you guys! Make sure you hurry into The Comics Stronghold tomorrow as copies will be limited, will sell out fast and won't be able to be put on hold! So we will see ya real soon, celebrating all things Marvel, in comics and beyond!

It's been a little bit of a while since the last time we did a spotlight on the latest variant covers from Marvel Comics and DC Comics so let's take a quick moment to appreciate the gorgeous cover art that released last week! As you all already know, we here at The Comics Stronghold could not be more excited for Supergirl Official next week, so it should be no surprise how partial we are to both the solo series variants as well ss the movie tie-in variants for the other titles! On the side of things, we are always a sucker for a good J Scott Campbell ♠️🎨 variant, and this week's and crossover is so good, they put it on a short box (also available in store along with the comic itself)! Its the second New Comic Day of June, and this week The Comics Stronghold is packing HEAT! launches the latest addition to the already iconic Absolute Universe as Absolute Catwoman springing out of the pages of with her own solo title! Meanwhile, it is the beginning of THE END over at as Armageddon finally arrives, bringing with it an all new solo title for the fan favorite Bishop as well as Jay & Silent Bob: Jays of Futures' Past from !
