The Kite Loft is proud to receive the Commanders Award from the United States Marine Corps Reserve for our support of the Marine Toys for Tots Program. Over 26,583 toys were distributed to 10,991 local children which surpasses last year. Every year The Kite Loft teams up with the Ocean City Jeep Club to play a part in this effort and to make sure a lot of local kids have a Happy Christmas. We appreciate the recognition from the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

Thanks to all of the Kite Flyers and Spectators that attended this years Maryland International Kite Expo. Weather wasn't the best but you guys made the most of it and we had kites in the air all three days. All of us at The Kite Loft appreciate all of the support you have shown us over the years. We are already planning for next year and will definitely order better weather. The dates for 2027 are: April 23rd thru the 25th., 2027. We hope to see all of you then. Please don't forget about our fall event the "King of the Wind" Ocean City Kite Festival in September.
