I was out on the ocean recently and a conversation started about YouTube famous anglers... and how they came up with this or that... the conversation turned to bucktails, which is what was going on... Summer Flounder/Fluke, whatever you want to call them, was the target at the moment... (just know it's sauce, not gravy, iykyk)... I have not researched this to any extent but the Upperman Bucktail was introduced in the 1940's... take a second to read the ad below... folks been bucktailing flounder a long time, way before the YouTube craze...

We hit the bay for a 3 hour trip this morning... this crew crushed it... 24.5, 22, 19, 18... 50 or so shorts ... drop and wind flounder... stacked up like a shingled roof....

When the entire Atlantic Coast looks like Cox Ledge / Coxes Ledge and neighboring areas... we might ask what else we could have done... why didn't those elected do more to stop this? why was this disaster ok?
