Adrian will be popping up outside the tea house under the redwoods for some gong fu cha tea service this month! Here are our first weekend dates and times. We will have some seats, a couple of small tables and the big redwood bench but encourage you to bring your favorite camping or folding chair for maximum outdoor comfort! We'll have some light nibbles but feel free to bring your lunch too!

It's going to be so warm and sunny and it feels like it's been ages. We can't wait to see you! Who's coming?!

🍵MARCH GONGFUCHA POPUPS🍵
As you know, the tea house is temporarily closed for renovations until next month. In the meantime, Adrian will hold weekend Gongfucha tea service popups under the redwoods outside the shop when the weather permits! Keep an eye out on social media and subscribe to our newsletter (via the website) to get the dates! Teas & teaware are still available to order online for delivery AND for in-store pickup during weekend Gongfucha popups. More details to come!

The mainstream global tea industry is based on an oppressive patriarchal, colonialist, capitalist system which profits off the labor, exploitation and abuse of women. It is no secret that it is the blood & sweat of indigenous, immigrant and trafficked women which feeds the tea fields of the colonial tea trade and its dark legacy. Therefore it is the responsibility of those of us in the tea world to not only source our teas with the wellbeing and safety of women in mind, but to provide true sanctuary for those who come to our spaces in search of it. There is no room for abuse, sexism, misogyny, transphobia, queerphobia, racism, in spaces where we regard the Earth as our Mother & her tea our medicine.

We'll be closing early tomorrow 2/22 so Adrian can pack for his trip to the UK and spend time with the dogs. Come by to bid your farewells, stock up or have a cuppa. We'll reopen on April 3rd after we've redesigned the tea house!

Big News! Happy Lunar New Year's Eve! Please honor this day with me (Adrian), Chris, my community and my kin. Enjoy togetherness, enjoy good food & start that Spring cleaning(!).

On this day we are so excited to announce that Two Trees Tea House will be expanding. Our neighbor will be consolidating her practice into her Plantink building nextdoor and we will be gaining an extra room!

Because of that, normal tea house operations will take a pause. Adrian will serve tea on the weekends under the redwoods as Chris builds our dream tea house out the back! More details soon on what March will look like.

In the meantime, thank you Idexa for your generosity. Thank you to our landlords for believing in us. And thank all of YOU for an incredible first year of being YOUR community tea house. Fire Horse is off to a great start!

Chris has been working on restoring this rickety old table he found at an estate sale. A new find for the tea house to go along with some very exciting news we will share with you this weekend!
