Well… this is kind of wild. 🤯
We’re up 53% over last year.
Eighteen years ago, A Novel Idea started as a tiny used bookstore. Today we’re hosting author signings, filling shelves with new trade-ins every day, and building a community of readers that honestly mean the world to me.
When I look at these numbers, I don’t see sales.
I see the customers who make a point to shop local when it would be easier to click a button online.
I see the families who spend their Saturdays browsing the shelves.
I see the readers who bring in books to trade, tell their friends about us, attend our events, share our posts, and cheer us on every step of the way.
Every book purchased, every trade-in, every recommendation, every share, every kind word—it all matters more than you know.
Small businesses don’t succeed because of one person. They succeed because a community chooses to support them over and over again.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for supporting local. Thank you for helping an 18-year-old little bookstore not just survive, but grow.
We wouldn’t be here without you, and I am incredibly grateful for every single one of you. - Michelle ❤️📚
