Moms, I can't say this enough......if you want those crystal clear, perfect shots, you got to do your part, too.....HYDRATION, HYDRATION, AND MORE HYDRATION! 6-8 glasses of water a day, for at least 3 days prior to your appointment will give you the best chance of getting those beautiful images. As many of you have heard me preach..."it's easier to swim in a swimming pool than a kiddie pool."

💜 For the last 8 weeks I’ve been trying to come up with the right words to leave you with. How do I even sum up the last 5 years? We started with 1200sq ft and a girl with a dream to bring moms together, have a safe no judgement space where kids could have impromptu play dates. A place moms could shop for affordable items for their families and not worry about the kids touching things. A place for story times and meetings of all sorts. A place that could help us serve and give back to our community. We have had 3 locations. We survived a flood after Hurricane Irma. My Twice Upon A Time family came together when Tim got cancer. 750 consignors. The countless friendships that came from the store are immeasurable. I can’t even begin to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your families and watch your babies grow. I’ve gone through 3 kids with some of you! You have watched my babies grow! I have a story or memory of each one of you as you’ve left footprints in my heart. I have cried with you and I have laughed with you! Sooo much laughing and so much leg crossing while we laughed together because 🤣🥰 I’ve gone through pregnancy and sometimes loss. I’ve gone through marriages and divorces with you. We have shared birth stories. We have played with carriers to find you the best fit. We’ve helped troubleshoot breastfeeding together. More times than I can count we were the first public place a new mom ventured out to after having baby. We have kids that come here and take off their shoes when they walk in they are so comfortable here. Tim and I used to joke that we needed to start taking pictures of kids crying as they left and make a collage because when others saw tears or melting down children we saw kids that loved our place so much they didn’t want to leave. 👈 I now wish we had done this. I was often the first person to be told the gender as new moms came straight to my store after hitting up Lucy at Hello Little One. More than once I had moms in labor in my store! Not going to lie a bucket list item of mine was to have someone’s water break in my store 🤷‍♀️🤣
I have met and had the pleasure of being a part of so many amazing organizations and now I’ll have the to time to volunteer at some of them! I’m not leaving our community so you will see me around town. You may not recognize me when I’m not behind the counter and my super power of knowing everyone’s name does not apply outside of the store so it may take me a minute to remember your name don’t take it personally! 🤣

But guys; I’m going to be ok. Is it hard? Absolutely. Am I going to miss everything? Absolutely. Have I cried? Of course, more than I’d care to admit. Am I kind of freaking out a little? You betcha! However with this time off due to this COVID-19 stuff I have loved on my babies like I wasn’t before. They have pointed out that I’m not as snappy with them. So while this is hard and sad it may be just like the hurricane was, a blessing in disguise. I absolutely love the community that was created here. 🥰 We truly were more than just a store. But now it’s time for my next chapter. I’d love it if you shared a memory you have with us 💕🥰
