Today, as I sit at my pop-up in Tulsa, I’m reflecting on my journey and looking at photos from my first event outside my usual market in the Paso Fino world October 20th 2017 , It’s incredible to realize how much I’ve grown. I left behind my fears and doubts to drive 17 hours away from home, exploring a completely different environment, market, and community. I challenged myself in new ways—my language, my sense of style, and my expectations.
I had no idea that this show would be the first of many and even more , opening my own brick and mortar store February 2021.
Since then, I’ve traveled by myself, driving a truck with a trailer—who knew I could ever do that? I’ve visited Arizona, Chicago, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, and more.
A new client stopped by today and shared how everyone was saying, “Odette is back, you have to meet her!” This made me feel so grateful and blessed.
Everyone that has stopped by saying hi this week and that are happy to see ODETTE makes my heart full.
This journey has taught me the importance of believing in myself and trusting the path ahead. It’s never too late to take risks and try new things.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports me—my family, my husband, my kids, my mom, and my right-hand, Doña Julia and many many friends. To all clients that have be come friends, thank you for your trust, thank you for trusting my vision. None of this would be possible without your unconditional love and support.
This is what being 50 looks like: full of ups and downs, with new challenges every day—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me in the coming years. Feeling blessed!
