🏎”Hella Grip is doing something we’ve never done before. Tbh, we don’t know if anyone has done this in the history of history-making. We’re dropping a signature griptape graphic with TWO different compositions... Yuuuup! Hella Grip Homie, Brian Noyes convinced us that a horizontal logo would be fine for his signature sheet, but it would be even better if we also released a vertical (“stacked”) version as well. In honor of Brian recently recovering from a rough injury and relinquishing his coveted dreadlock (beaver tail), we were more than stoked to move forward with his bold proposition. When you see the artwork, you’ll understand why it was an easy decision. It’s an adrenaline-fueled action collage of a typical day-in-the life of Brian Noyes. There’re car explosions, jet ski escapes, loyal sidekicks (Homie Hohmann), helicopter-danglin’ daredevil sloths, and some good ol’ fashion scootering. We gotta give heaps of credit to Oliva Monks for collaborating with Brian and designing this epic storyboard. They seem to have visually captured the local mantra, “When in Miami, do as the Miamians do… tear it up.””- the Boss ..

There weren’t many scooter brands to sponsor riders in the early days, so many of us released clips on behalf of our crews: Nothing but Scooters, Ride and Destroy, and The Philly Crew to name a few. When The Over Show was founded in 1998, we chose black and green as our official colors.
