Just finished tuning this new 9 note handpan Sierra Scale (derived from E Minor). The top center note is E3. Side notes from lowest to highest are A3, C4, D4, E4, F #4, G4, A4, C5. Octaves of E3, E4 and A3, A4 and C4, C5 are found in the scale adding harmonic sharing and harmonious overlapping of the notes. E Minor Sierra Scale does not have the usual B note in the scale. We really like how soothing and meditative this scale is. It has been challenging figuring out how to fit 9 notes on our shells because of the smaller shell size compared to most 9 note handpans. The benefit though is an instrument with easier to reach notes while in your lap. Next I’ll be working on a F major 9 note scale. Hope it turns out good and I can share that one here as well. Getting ready for the Holidays? We are too! This is the first stage of shaping the handpan notes with an air hammer. This one should be finished in a week. Hope everyone has a great season this year! .

Just finished tuning up this gorgeous handpan tuned to F Major. This was a customer request and the high C on this harmonizes so wonderfully with the other notes. Video soon! 😍.

The gift of 🎶❤. Reposted from A little Christmas serenade. I was gifted this for Christmas. Something that I’ve researched for over a month after hearing Aria Math from the Minecraft soundtrack. (Yes I’m a nerd) it’s a handpan drum. Is this not the most soothing sound? It allows me to relax in a way I can’t explain which I really need right now. This along with yoga in the mornings will really improve my focus and mindset, that’s the hope anyways.
