🐾 ATTENTION CalFresh Recipients!

Starting June 1, 2026, new federal work & community engagement requirements go into effect for some CalFresh/SNAP recipients in California.

If you need to fulfill these requirements, ASTRO Foundation can help! We're actively seeking Sanitation Volunteers at our Oakdale adoption center located at 20 S. Stearns Rd. — and your hours may count toward your CalFresh requirements!

📅 Most needed: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays
⏰ Hours: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
🧹 Tasks include: Cleaning cat & dog kennels, sweeping, mopping, laundry & dishes

Requirements:
✅ Must love animals
✅ Must be able to lift 30 lbs
✅ Must NOT be allergic to dogs or cats
