I might be outing myself here, but in a renewed committment to being more authentically myself I feel it would be an injustice not to tell you all where the inspiration for my favorite design came from 😶‍🌫️

About a year ago I rediscovered my love of *ahem* fan written derivative fiction. In some of these stories there is a character who has a plush dragon, and I just couldn’t picture them carrying around a more modern looking toy with big sparkly eyes or super intricate details. A few sketches and a lot of adjustments later, my dragon design was born.

They’re all named after stars that make up constellations, in an ode to the inspiring character’s family tradition. 🐉✨
