Can you imagine making a product that everybody likes? What about making a statement that everyone agrees with? A song or movie that everyone loves or a product that everyone uses. Impossible. That's one of the great things...choices.
We love social media. It's a great outlet to express and promote yourself, give your opinions, look at the world in real time and communicate with people you love.
Can you imagine living your life on TV. Every family, financial, personal & business decision and mistake for the world to see. Sometimes people forget that Orange County Choppers has survived through it all. This is our 20 year anniversary as OCC (Legal entity 1999, first show airing 2002) that all started from a small iron works shop. Been very blessed.
To all the backseat drivers, Monday morning quarterbacks, haters, naysayers and most importantly social media bandits..... we love you too (especially the ones who hide behind fake profiles on Instagram and Twitter). It's easy for some to sit on a keyboard and type negative things than to actually lift somebody up.
The next time you're ready to write something negative on social media, pause and ask yourself why. Everyone has skeletons in the closet, has done something they're not proud of, made a mistake, etc. Don't like our product bring your opinion, cool. We're in the public eye and it comes with the territory but could you have lived your life on TV for the world to judge? Not easy. Great pay and fame but you spend lots on Advil. lol
We've employed many, helped thousands of veterans, kids, animals and more with our philanthropy efforts. We have a great client base, the best fans in the world and most importantly we have positivity.
If you're going to hide behind a computer and spend your valuable time here on Facebook that you could be using to promote a great cause you love, just unfollow us, we'll be OK.
Look around. The world is crazy and everyone can use a little positivity in their life.
After 20 yrs some still don't have a grasp of what we do here at OCC. Yes, we make the crazy concept bikes you see on the show for corporate companies to use for promotional/marketing purposes, many who use to raise money for charitable causes.
We also make tons of bikes for the everyday rider, servicing & lots of machine shop work like all those championship belts you see on the WWE. What you see on TV is just a portion of what we do.
As we move more and more into the digital space, we are going to be bringing some unique content.
For the haters: Ratings are up so next week we move to the prime time slot of 8pm 😜
