Fun Fact Friday!!!

Starting a little something new here... Fun Fact Friday!

The fact this week is that Krotters happens to be the oldest Maytag dealer in the world! William Krotter bought the lumberyard in Stuart from his employer in 1891 and later signed a dealer agreement with The Maytag Company of Newton, Iowa in 1898... when they were manufacturing farm implements (long before the washing machine that didn't come around until 1907). The farm implements have long gone by the wayside, but modern, dependable Maytag home appliances are still in demand and on hand at Krotters!
