Anna’s newest piece in is a personal one. It is about the things we hold onto when someone we love is gone and the small ways God meets us in our grief.

Anna shares how losing her father changed her. He restored classic cars and had a gift for noticing details most people would overlook. Those memories are still with her, and they even shape the way she thinks about vintage design and beauty today. She writes about how tangible reminders can bring comfort when grief feels too heavy to carry all at once.

She also shares Kathleen Manges's story, a mother in our community who lost her teenage son, Vincent. Kathleen talks about how her church surrounded her with support, and how returning to papercrafting helped her take small steps forward. She ended up making more than 100 sympathy cards for others who were grieving, as a way to keep love moving outward even in the middle of tragedy.

This article is not meant to be a simple guide with easy answers. It is a reminder that love perseveres and that faith can hold us when we cannot hold ourselves.

As the second anniversary of Vincent's passing is here, I want to share this article by papercrafting CEO Anna Griffin Inc.

The article is a guide to grief, remembrance, and love in action.
I am forever humbly honored that she incorporated some aspects of my own personal grief journey as a mother in her article below.

This week has been one of personal reflection as I pour over my family scrapbooks and give thanks to God for the 18 years I had on earth with Vincent as his mother.

Though I miss him every day, I continue to press forward and look to how I can continue to bless others.

May God comfort you. May love propel you forward.
