Another customer story today -
Clayton is in town from Colorado and brought his Catfishing gear hoping to get a chance at a good one. He said he had caught a couple decent Blues out of the Missouri but wanted a Flathead and advice. I gave him a few spots to try and a dozen Goldfish. An hour later he called full of excitement. He was coming back to the store!
I’d say he had a successful trip!

Arriving early next week is the latest Megabass Respect Series color MFB in a few baits. Included in that box will be a few Megabass JDM colorways on the Karashi 80, IxI Shad and Blowly and a PM PB i-Slide 187R.
Also arriving will be a significant re-stock of OneTens, Sleeper Craws, Okashira Heads and Uozes. Plus, I'm adding the SonicSide to the already "Best in the Midwest!" massive Bullseye Megabass lineup.

In case you haven’t been in the store there’s a lot of changes happening. Lots of folks are asking if we are in trouble. NOT!! In fact, Thank You to all for making this a great year! We are moving stuff around and changing things up to bring you MORE & BETTER.
I updated the packaging and we are currently working on getting the Skirt Material and Jig Heads in front of you. Both in store and online.
You can make the jigs yourself or we can put your customized skirt on it for you.

I just received word from Riley at Bait Cave Customs. They should be here early next week! Bone w/Red Flake Zora's. We've got a bunch coming to Bullseye along with the standard colors next week!! Thank you Riley and Amanda!

Another cool story at Bullseye!
I set Wyatt up with a Spinning Rod/Reel late last week when his dad brought him in. He came back Monday afternoon with his mom and the line on and around the reel was a nightmare. He was not enjoying his new setup to say the least.
I stripped the tangles off the spool and tied on a Practice Plug and said let’s go out into the parking lot.
Wyatt was hesitant to cast around the cars but I assured him it would be fine.
After watching a cast or two it was apparent he was getting too much “air”.
We discussed how to correct his technique. I didn’t think he’d have too much difficulty because he’s a catcher on his baseball team and has a great arm!
Mom sent me this photo this morning.
I think he’s enjoying the setup now!
I told them to bring the reel in and I’d re-spool the line.

It was a pretty cool time in the shop this morning. If you fish Mark Twain Lake much you may recognize these 2 fellas. Jimmy Coyner and Don McFetridge. They are a couple of HAMMERS there and are going head-to-head in the upcoming Freshwater FX Fishing Series bracket challenge. Thank you for letting me take your photo!

My favorite way to open the store!
Aiden and family came back to show me what he caught on the Yamamoto EXCLUSIVE The Bullseye Senko after he came in asking how he could catch a Bass. I set him up with a wacky rig and if you look close you can see the tip at the mouth!
Way to go Aiden! That’s the first of many I’m sure. Ask for them in store. We always have them behind the counter or find them online at
