Fished the East Verde River in Payson AZ this past week, fishing was awesome, Simi Seal Leaches Black Red , and Black Zebra midges were the ticket....

With the C.C. Cragin Reservoir getting to 70% this Winter, which is not bad for a La Nina Winter , the East Verde should Fish Well all Spring and Summer !

Last Week I fished Silver Creek , in Show Low AZ .... They have a special Regulation season on this Creek Between Oct and March , see your AZ Fly Fishing Regs for details. At a High Level it is turned into a Catch and Release Stream , Barbless Hooks, Single Hook Spinners/jigs , and Fly Fishing Flies allowed only. Fishing was Awesome , caught 20 + Fish , all nice size 15 Inches up to 20 inch Trout , they fought hard , and it made for a great time... Something if you are ok with Catch and Release I would highly recommend this fall and winter! .... I will work on posting some pictures of fish caught..

Fished East Fork of the Black River last weekend, Fishing was good for Apache Trout, West Fork of Black , was fair , need some rain!!, and Main Stem of black River done about 2 miles from Buffalos Crossings Bridge , Fishing was good for Brown and Rainbow Trout
