I never thought the people of this country would vote to elect a racist, sexist, fascist, convicted felon to run the country.To know that I live in a country where 51% of the population would vote for that and also be against a women's right to make her own choices for her own body is mind boggling. It is a sad day indeed. God help us.

Are you voting for a party or a person? Growing up my parents were divided. One was a Democrat, the other Republican so I grew up thinking I'd be a Green candidate. I love the outdoors and animals - people, not so much. As fate would have it, I never chose a party, I always chose a person. This time, I choose Biden/Harris. Trump has thrown woman down as housewives or wh**es. He's disrespected the USPS by saying "no one knows who's filling out those ballots". I guarantee you that 99% of the carriers and clerks that make up over half a million jobs in the USA take their jobs seriously and respectfully. Are there a few bads ones, yes - there always are in any business. However, the bad one can't lead the people. We saw that with Hi**er, Jim Jones, Charles Manson and now with Trump. Evil entices with false information, dividing the masses, and worshipping the power and greed that comes with it. I often wonder if God is disappointed in creation. Is he sorry he allowed us to inhabit his beautiful, sustainable universe? I also wonder if, down the road, the next generation will do away with this long running division or perhaps learn from our mistakes and create something God will be proud to admit he created.

I'm not sure when life became so divisive. I saw a billboard that said "vote for guns, vote for God, vote for Trump". Had I not been with my daughter who's the epitome of positivity, I'm not sure what I would've done. I know lots of people that own weapons. They like to hunt, or just like to shoot guns, or feel safer owning one. I also know many people that believe in God - Catholic, Baptists, Lutheran Jewish, Muslim - you name it - but all good people that feel a deep connection to trying to do good things, be better people; people that always strive to be more humble, more compassionate, more giving. These are not Trump traits, they're American traits. Freedom to believe in God, freedom to own a weapon (or anything else), and freedom to vote. These aren't Trump things and they aren't the rights of just Republicans OR Democrats. Vote for a country that's not bullying. Vote for a team that's not stirring the s**t and not divisive. And vote the team that's not a disgrace to their affiliated party.
