St. John Vianney never considered himself especially gifted—but he understood that holiness begins with simply giving God everything. 🙏

As the humble Curé of Ars, he transformed a small French parish through prayer, sacrifice, preaching, and an extraordinary devotion to the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. He spent countless hours in the confessional, patiently helping others encounter the mercy of Christ.

Today, St. John Vianney is honored as the patron saint of parish priests. On his feast day, let us pray for the priests who celebrate the sacraments, accompany us through life’s joys and sorrows, and faithfully lead their communities closer to Jesus.
