I'm not sure I have seen anything more relatable in my life. I am indeed forever haunted by all the books I will never read, no matter how fast I read them.

But the new book in one of my favorite series just came out so excuse me, other books on the to-read list, gotta push you down!

Once again, we appreciate everyone's patience with the process of us getting set up in the new space, everything shelved and the like. In celebration of the fact that it is pretty much all (finally) done, Tribune Books and Gifts will be having a sale this week - 10% off all inventory!

And that includes 10% off the already low prices for our clearance inventory, which, for a limited time only, is larger than it ever has been before. If you need a new read now, but don't want to spend a lot, now's the time to grab something off the clearance shelf before it goes for good!

We appreciate everyone's patience with the moving process. We are now in the new space at 448 Main Street, just down the street from our friends at Cafe Nomad. We are still getting fully set up, but our phones are hooked in again - same number as before - and we are open for those who want to place orders or pick up orders.

As part of this move, all inventory in the store will be 20% off until the end of the year!

Tribune Books and Gifts is announcing that after Christmas, and into January, we will be moving to a new location - STILL ON MAIN STREET. It will not be far from our current location, actually - just down to 448 Main Street here in Norway, the space next to Cafe Nomad.

We make this move to better be able to serve the community, and while it will cause a brief disruption, since the move won't be until after Christmas, it should cause no significant issue for the shopping season.

In the new space, all frequent buyer cards, all gift card and all orders made will be honored. We are and will be the same business, selling books and gifts to the people of Norway, South Paris and the rest of the Oxford Hills region, and anyone else who is interested - visiting, passing through or anything else.

We will do our best to cause as little disruption as possible to your book-buying needs during this time of transition. We thank everyone for their patience and continued patronage, and we hope to continue serving the community well into the future.

In the interests of giving you all the most time possible for your Christmas shopping, on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this coming week (that is, the 15th, 16th and 17th) as well as the Monday and Tuesday of Next Week (22nd and 23rd), we will be open from 10am to around 2pm.

The person behind the desk will be generously donating her time, but please bear in mind she is just filling in, so the check out process may be a little slower.

Now that I've caught your attention with a funny cat meme: This is your warning to get orders in that you want to give people for Christmas by the end of business Saturday, December 6th.

After that date, there is still a chance things get here in time for Christmas (to a point), but the odds drop significantly. If you can't make it in, please feel free to call and place your order over the phone.

As I mentioned in November, our hours are expanding for the Holidays. Until Christmas our set hours are as follows:

Sunday 12 Noon to 5PM
Monday ~2:30PM to 5PM
Tuesday ~2:30PM to 5PM
Wednesday ~2:30PM to 5PM
Thursday 10AM to 5PM
Friday 10AM–6PM
Saturday 10AM–6PM

We will also be open later in the month (starting on the 15th) in the mornings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 10am to 2pm, thanks to my mother generously lending her time so that we can make sure everyone has as much time as possible to get their Christmas shopping in.

Finally, we will be open 10 AM to 6PM Wednesday, December 24th - Christmas Eve - for any of your last minute Christmas needs.

We have always been happy to serve the community during the Holidays and we look forward to continuing to this year.
