It is with a heavy heart that I want to inform everyone that I will be closing the store at the end of December. This decision was not an easy one, but given the brain injury I sustained last year, this is the decision that needed to be made for my own mental health.
This store was a passion project from the start and I so enjoyed sharing it with you all. I am so thankful for all of the visitors and neighbors I met at the store, the regulars who stopped in for chats; to share the highs and lows of life, the people who found joy in the store and those who said hello when I would see you around the island. Please know that every person who told me how beautiful the store is, how much the island needed a store like mine, how you love to bring your family and friends in and show them the store, and everyone who laughed with me over funny cards and coasters, each of you made this decision harder. I truly value every conversation had with you all.
The opening of the Artists Annex this year had been a goal and I loved every second of it. It was an honor to support the talented artists on our island and Cape May County and I thank each of you for being involved. Please continue to support these great artists and their work.
I have also loved being a part of the business community here in North Wildwood. It has been amazing working with the other business owners in the North Wildwood Business Owner's Association to help bring more events to the island in the off season, to keep the fun going all year long. Thank all of you for your support and inclusion!
I know a lot of you may not have the opportunity to get down before I close and I am sorry to say that the online store is not very up to date. If there is something you know you want, please reach out. This is not goodbye, as I still live on the island and I hope to see you all out and about. And look out for potential pop ups happening in the new year!
I will be open every Sat and Sun thru Dec 21st and of course will be open on Black Friday and will also be at the Christmas Village in Bryne Plaza. Please watch the socials for announcements of additional open days when I am able. Be sure to stop in and enjoy HUGE savings on everything in the store (except select local artists).
Again, thank you for all the support and amazing memories. I hope to see you around the island.
