Boats! I have boats! I have a great selection of pontoon bots! I have all types! Ones for cruising, ones for fishing or ones for just partying on the waves! With the snow melting and 60⁰ temperatures forecast for next week its definitely not too early to start getting ready for boat season! Don't let this be you. An RV can be a big investment. Don't let it go up in smoke! Here are a couple useful tips to help you avoid losing that investment in a puff of smoke.
1. Be aware if you use a space heater (which i dont advise), and follow all manufacturers safety guidelines.
2.Make sure if you leave the camper to unplug all appliances.
3.Check your propane system regularly! I cannot stress this enough. Visually inspect it and take it in for annual inspections.
4. Make sure your Carbon Monoxide, Smoke, and Propane detectors are up to date and functioning regularly.
5. Be aware while using the cooktop and keep all flammable materials away from it.
6. Have a fire extinguisher that is full and in great working order.
7. Keep all fires and grills a safe distance from the camper and not near flammable objects. Watch for embers from fires.
8. Walk your RV everytime you are done using it. Visually inspect the electrical and all gas lines. Make sure battery connections are tight and any battery disconnects are turned to off when camper is not in use. Walk the roof when possible and look for damage.
