Of my crassula collection, C. columella requires a bit more water and can tolerate being on the outer edge of my grow lights while still maintaining compact growth.

The cluster in the photo was made from 4 small cuttings (3rd photo) that I planted in mid-November 2023. Compared to the cuttings I planted in 100% lechuza w/osmocote, these did so well in 50:50 succulent soil to perlite. I ended up switching over the lechuza cuttings to this mix instead. The cuttings in lechuza rooted nicely but developed no offsets.

I like 100% grit for my alstonii though.

Echeveria ‘Persephone’ aka ‘Pushke’ or ‘Fushike’. Some kind of black queen or black rose hybrid from Korea. Surprisingly the leaves are quick to propagate (if you manage to get a clean break). I used to own a larger specimen and it offset really easily.

Echeveria ‘Dark Opal’ arrived a year ago looking like it was going to die. Most of the outer leaves had that typical yellow glow which signifies rot. However the center most leaves appeared fine, and it’s currently doing well!
