Hey Everyone! So I know we haven't given out a ton of information yet on what is going on and I realize in the absence of info there are a lot of rumors going around, so I want to clear up some of the ones I've heard recently

1. There is a new indoor carpet track going in Ft. Myers, or North Ft Myers, or something. - True. We are building a track in a warehouse off of 41 in North Ft Myers near Del Prado. It is indoor and it is carpet.

2. It is going to be a massive facility - False. We have 6000 sqft of building space, it will be roughly half the size of Beachline's facility.

3. They are going to have 3 tracks and plan to focus on everything under the sun. Maybe even indoor drone battles - False. The building is not large enough to have anything like that. What are we doing then? We have a black carpet track that measures 80x36 right now. The rest of the building is carpeted with office carpet and is intended to be used for pit space, retail space and such. We have a bathroom on that side of the track, and we have enough power in the building to run a small city, so we will be able to ensure everyone has enough power for charging and setting up a great pit space. We also invested in a significant amount of RCP track for mini z. Enough that I could lay a mini z over our carpet track and it would almost fill the whole thing. So technically we have 2 tracks.

4. What about that part where they said you were going to focus on all racing? That is also false. To be totally honest we don't know what our focus will be yet but the options are there to do most carpet racing. I am talking to the oval guys about doing oval, we will likely start with on road and depending on demand, available hands to help, and what makes sense to not spread everyone too thin, we may offer off road at a later time. What we don't know is how this beachline carpet will work for foam tires and how it will react to sauce. We will be doing a number of test races prior to opening to determine what different formats we can support and what our customer base wants. To start, expect some oval, some on road TC and as much mini z as we can handle. depending on turnout it is possible that we could have the mini z and the carpet track both up and running simultaneously allowing for practice time on both without needing a teardown. But we will see. Larger mini layouts will need to be on the track space and for bigger mini races we will want it front and center in the building.

I think that is enough for now. Have you heard any rumors about us? Please feel free to drop them in the comments and I will be happy to address each one. This track is for you all. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. No one gets rich running a track. I'm just trying to provide a place that is permanent and that local racers can have a club without driving a couple hours.
