I have sketchy phone service barely get this posted to give you an update. I was able to see some of the comments but could not respond BUT I promise they kept me strong
I also see all the DM’s and texts but hard to respond so thank YOU and I mean that THANK YOU for checking on me.
I am numb but we are alive 🙏💔
I am heartbroken over the catastrophic damage and lives that this has taken. My prayers go out to everyone that was affected by this storm. There really are no words today.
The barn roof was peeled away in some parts BUT I will rebuild as we are ALIVE.
The property as you can see looks awful but trees will grow back.
Our house by the grace of God kept us safe but has sustained damage. We will fix it
Chickens and Rico are safe
Thank you to @joebocchino @kelsien @tortoiseandharevintage @holbrookbazaar @mpolk712 @tnrivagurl for basically being my lifeline and getting the word out that we are safe. Love all of you more than you know 😘
Lastly what we sustained is nothing in comparison to what Sanibel, Captiva, Ft Myers Beach, Pine Island, Matlache, Boca Grande, Euseppa and most of Ft Myers have been hit with and it is beyond comprehension. I will do whatever it takes to help this community in whatever way I can as this is my home.

Well…we unfortunately are about 15 miles from the eye making landfall unless this thing decides to turn some more 💔 It just started getting bad so not sure if I can do another video.
You can see in the video the barn and how close the barn is to the rising waters as we sit on a major creek. We did not evacuate because we will do whatever it takes to protect our property.
I have been inundated with messages, texts and calls checking on me and can NOT thank you enough it has saved me from breaking down.
I am a firm believer in prayer and God and I have been talking quite a bit the past two days. 🙏
Sending so many prayers to the islands that are going to get the worst of this thing as it is no joke. We love you Sanibel, Captiva, Matlacha, Pine island, Bokeelia, Ft Myers Beach and Boca Grande 😢
Some may say “you should have left” well until you are in MY shoes don’t judge as we will do whatever it takes to protect this property and our livelihood. If God decided the barn needs to go then I will rebuild as it is my heart and soul. Thankfully our house sits on high ground.
The chickens and Rico are safe in the garage and not very happy BUT they are safe. Hell I would bring them in the house if I need to 🥰
