Angie's Seaglass Creations has hit a wall, for a while. They're calling it hurricane Ian. My online inventory made it, (in the boat.) The rest of my tools, inventory and equipment are gone. They were in my buried truck, or galleries that vanished. So...no custom work will be possible in the near future, and I won't be showing up at any events. Sorry for the inconvenience.

SWFL Peace Day Festival was a hoot! That's me in the panda head! Nothing like a little laughter, love and peace after a rough couple of months!

I got a lot of kind words from a lot of strangers today, and even more from my awesome friends. They will never know I almost burst into tears as each one left, that I need it now more than ever.

Remember, a kind word costs nothing, and sometimes means everything.

Thank you, Kim Chenausky and Rachel Madigan you know why. I get by with a little help from my friends. ❤

I'm in my hometown, Baxley, GA, to do Peaches to Beaches. I called up my good friend, Dawn Reynolds, (her Mama and mine worked in the same convenience store when we were little,) and asked her if she would put me up. She laughed at me for asking, then asked if I wanted ribs or chicken from the BBQ wagon in town.

I've been sitting on her quiet front porch, enjoying the most wonderful hospitality, and getting ready for the show. Yesterday, I went to the store on the highway, bought a fried pork chop lunch and some gas. Old man, in line behind me, says "You look familiar to me, who's your Mama and Daddy?"

Today, I watched a young man cut his Mama's grass, and then his Granddaddy's grass, because that's what young people do here...still.

I've been a lot of places, seen a lot of cultures, but I miss people that try to do right, teach their kids not to be "ugly", and chat in the grocery store for an hour, because they, "ain't seen you in a coon's age!!!"

The people that raised me are long dead, and I don't really have any reason to come here, (except my friends and fond memories,) but I'm proud of where I'm from and the people that live here. I look forward to seeing ya'll this weekend. Thanks for making me feel like I'm home.

In case you ever wondered...this is how you find matching pieces for green sea glass earrings...fun stuff, right? Doing earrings in all colors this week because I don't want to do epoxy on the road. I'm going to be in my hometown, Baxley, Georgia for Peaches to Beaches. I want to make a good impression when I see all my old friends. WHERE'S MY GEORGIA FRIENDS GOING FOR PEACHES TO BEACHES???

It's 4:30 in the morning, I'm loading up the truck to go to the Florida Keys Farmers Market in Islamorada. I just want to remind everybody to put something pretty in the world today. Maybe it's your manners, your smile, your art, your driving habits- whatever...lots of ugly out there, but if we all try to put something pretty in the world, it will be a better place for all of us!

Because weird stuff is my thang! Most of the time, it's green, brown, white or aqua...different shades of blue...but these just don't have a specific color category. Anybody else see anything they dig?
