Another great addition coming to the shop. This is a JPT Mopa EM7 fiber laser. The second picture shows the safety enclosure I got for protection from the open beam. This machine will eliminate the use of marking solutions on stainless steel. It will take my metal marking capabilities to new and exciting places.

I'm working on some different coaster designs with epoxy/resin.
I wanted to share with you one of my pours while making the magic happen. I see so many people working with resin that do not have crystal clear pours. People are so amazed that they are able to buy something encapsulated in resin that the clarity is over looked. These people have not put the time and efforts into learning a craft. Their interest sits in the idea of taking your money with somebody else's cool idea. Not every pour is perfect and not every person will have amazing results all of the time but those people taking your money should at least try to produce quality pieces for their customers.

Good morning laser fans! I wanted to hop in here and thank you all for your understanding while we were battling mother nature. Anybody that had placed an order after 11/24 got caught in the Thanksgiving Holiday then Lake Effect disaster - I appreciated your tolerance and understanding while the government put us under an emergency and shut us completely down. Not only was it difficult to get orders out it was a challenge to figure out HOW to actually get them made when our shop was buried and I'm still under strict medical restrictions. Ask me how I cut and sanded tree toppers in minus degree wind chill weather to make sure orders were still able to go out once our bans were lifted and the post office was ready to ship. So while some of you were appreciative to the challenges I was facing there were a couple bad apples that either didn't wrap their head around what was actually taking place (even when informed) or they were just far too entitled to care. I'm not Wal-Mart or Amazon. Each order is cut and or created once an order is received. (both of which were shut down on deliveries here btw) I can't control mail but I always ship priority to make sure the orders I send out are covered. If I am contacted within a reasonable amount of time I am always happy to replace or refund and make sure things go smoothly. If you can't wrap your head around small business and custom work then I am probably not the place to buy your one-of-a-kind items.

We are about to get buried again!

I am thinking of doing a twice a month custom hat give away. I am looking for some feedback on the idea. We can do one personal and one business hat per month. I am open to ideas on how to make that happen. Friends or maybe post suggestions with likes and comments? I am open to ideas.
