Sometimes there's just no words to describe how you feel when you see a quilt....... Friends from.church said they had a quilt that his mother gave him a long time ago and they felt it should go to the church. Ok. I'll come get it. I was not expecting this. I was speechless. And when I got it home....the more I looked at it....the more amazed I was. This quilt is hand pieced ..hand embroidery and hand quilted. Dated ...1935. there are 488 names embroidered on it in the tiniest stitches I've ever seen! Amazing....
