Twin sisters at Cheyney University will graduate at the top of their class, with Tia Criss named valedictorian and her sister, Jasmin Criss, salutatorian.

Tia maintained a 4.0 GPA, while Jasmin earned a 3.9 GPA. Both will graduate May 9 during the university’s commencement ceremony with bachelor’s degrees in business administration.

“Their story is not just a celebration of academic achievement, it is a symbol of what is possible when talent meets purpose,” Cheyney University President Aaron Walton said in a statement. “We could not be prouder to send them into the world as ambassadors of this historic institution.”
