The Marrowstone Pottery Bread Baking Cloche is now on Sale. The first three have already sold with one still remaining which can be reserved now for pick up later this week. The photo attached is of one sold last week with the Bordeaux Red Glaze. The remaining one for sale will be glazed with our Purple or Lavender glaze and is selling for $150.00 which includes the tax and comes with a French Bread recipe and baking instructions.

The first Furnoware slip cast Cloche glazed and high fired in oxidation. The glaze didn't turn out the way that I wanted because of settlement of the stain but the functionality turned out fine. The French bread recipe baked to perfection in the Cloche as the photo shows.

The glaze settlement problem has been solved so the next Cloche should turn out even better.

This is a photo of my new Marrowstone Pottery Cloche design. This is the model done in porcelain that molds will be made from for slip casting the Cloche with a Furnoware slip.

If you aren't familiar with a Cloche, it is for baking home made French bread or whatever other kind of bread that you like. No need to steam the oven because the Cloche holds in the moisture and self steams the bread. The Furnoware Cloche will come with French bread making instructions guaranteed to produce a perfect loaf of bread every time.
