Name Change Explanation & An Apology
I officially started this business in July 2025 when I submitted paperwork to the Georgia Secretary of State to create my LLC. I used a service to create & submit the paperwork.
The service I chose offered to build my website for free & host it for the first 30 days free as well. I was naive & thought, "Wow, this is great!" It has been anything but a pleasant experience.
The creation/building of my website was supposed to take no more than 3 days; it ended up being longer than a week. When I was finally shown what they had built, I thought it was awful. I attempted MANY times to contact the web people with no response from them. Ever.
On day 31, my bank account had an unusual charge, from a company that I did not recognize, so I called the number on my bank statement. It was for my website, but it was THREE times the amount I had agreed to pay for monthly web hosting. I immediately told the person who answered the phone to cancel everything. (It has not been canceled, I received notification that my account is past due in the past few days.)
My SO took a look at the website & clicked around (I had only looked at the homepage). Turns out, not only was the design beyond awful (IMO), they had also included multiple fake reviews/testimonials. I want to be very clear: I did not authorize any fake info on my website & I would never encourage anyone to leave a review that was not truly heartfelt & in their own words. I absolutely will encourage people to leave reviews, but will never suggest what that review should include. I want my business to be completely honest, transparent & above board. I feel my personal ethics, values & personality will build my business to success. Not fraud & deceit.
I was unable to transfer that domain from the original company that built my website. They purchased it & it belongs to them. Therefore, I have changed my business name to Jewelry Enchantments & established myself as the owner of that domain. I profusely apologize for any confusion this name change may have caused. I have updated the logo, it is essentially the same. I changed one word & kept the rest.
