Here's my latest bag- the Nuria by SarahMariam in waterproof canvas. This is a big bag for me, but now I'll have my knitting with me and also a lunch bag (there are two side pouches on either side of the center purse organizer. Plus, the exterior zipper pocket my son is allowed in to get the car key.

The Bag of the Month pattern this month is about twice as big as I use. Do any of you use a 15x10x6 bag? I sell the ones I don't use for cost, which is this case will be $75. Be watching if you like the style. I like that when it folds up, the feature fabric sticks out the sides in a pretty shape. I personally try to carry a bag small enough that no one asks me to stick their stuff in my purse, and this is way to roomy.

Parker Polar Bear by Planet Applique. This was a bit of a battle to stitch up, then it sat unassembled on my table for a month or two, but now he's done. Paige asked for one, too. After I had his pieces all stitched she said she doesn't like doll joints, so she gets to do the finishing- the parts just don't work like that. You have to make your choices from the beginning.

I've been super busy during what I'm calling Bag Week. It was really birthday week here so some of these were presents. #1 is my Kaylee Crossbody made if vinyl from Blended Thread. Tailormade to meet all my pocket needs but I forgot the bottom mends over so my checkbook doesn't fit in the special pocket I spent time rigging.

This is Grace, by Isy Sews for our Bag of the Month Club last month. I am making a cross-body strap, and waiting on hardware for a special accent. This is made out of upholstery fabric and waxed canvas.

Introducing the January bag of the month from the Bag of the Month Club - the Happy Handbag. I used a zipper closure instead of magnetic snaps because my mom has first dibs and she likes her bag to close tightly. I added lots of pockets inside in case she doesn't want it because I love pockets. This is a fairly large bag. It opens up completely, so to me it looks like the perfect knitting bag with room for a wallet.

Here's my latest purse. This one is for me. This is the Kaylee pattern and is absolutely perfect. The side pocket is a wallet, and I love how the straps attach with the rivets on the tiny strap. I can't say every stitch is perfect, but finally I am proud of the strap. The vinyl is a deep copper and hardware is rose gold.

Here's a continuation of the Alice Saga....I made this awesome Pocket pal wallet to go with the Cheshire cat purse for our CluedUpp Alice Adventure this Saturday, but as Paige and I were talking in the car tonight, little warning bells started going off in my head- her "day off" was Monday. Which means she is working Saturday. No way will I get both Charlie and Eric to troop around Carmel for three hours hunting up Alice in Wonderland clues. Just not going to happen. Grrr I guess my fun was in the planning.
