Don't forget - story time and book signing with Author Kenda Henthorn is happening tomorrow morning! Time zones gave us a little confusion on start time so feel free to come at 10 OR 11! Yes, this means special hours ☺️

It feels like such a long time coming, but FINALLY! We are so excited to announce our very first author event! Kenda Henthorn is an author of children's picture books and middle grade novels, and on Saturday at 11AM she will be here to read and sign her newest book; Baa Baa Tap Sheep!

"As a trio of tired tots settles into bed for the night, the sheep who should be helping them count down to slumber kick up their hooves instead in an energetic dance performance. Starting with one little lamb and counting up to 10, these "sleep" sheep tap, waltz, tango, and even boogie as they get their nighttime groove on. But finally, after their energy is danced out, nap sheep lull everyone to sleep."

We cannot wait to see you and the kids for such a special event! Be sure to share, and feel free to tag anyone you think would enjoy story time!

We’re here today. FINALLY! 🎉

New hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday noon-7!!

The loft is a little empty but will be filling up over the coming weeks. Stay tuned this week for an exciting announcement about our first ever children’s author event as well!

Somewhere between the original drawing and today I had given up on the idea of having a spiral staircase. It seemed like there were a lot of obstacles in the way between price, safety and size. But the stars aligned and here we are with this total stunner. 🤩 I’m in love.

And just like that we are a couple weeks from opening this loft space. This entire bookstore has been an absolute dream, but opening this loft is really going to be the icing on the cake. 🥰 extra seating, more books, a table for book clubs or quiet work...hopefully it will be a space that will serve everyone who comes in!
While we put the finishing details on everything we will be CLOSED. The construction mess is a lot to keep on top of! So we're going to button up and hunker down these books.

We will be having a grand RE-opening on May 21st. So mark your calendars and keep your eyes peeled for an event. We are planning some fun things and are so excited to show you all the hard work we've put in.

When my two worlds collide. 😍 I’m equal parts bookseller, flower farmer, and lover of all the cozy things. The first few blooms of the season have finally arrived but the flower shop isn’t open yet. I spent all morning harvesting so now these gorgeous daff bouquets will be available for sale in the bookstore today! Stop in any time from noon to 6 and get your bookish & flowery fix. 🥰
