Thank you for all of your donations and continued support! When you donate items to Cornerstone Thrift, you help the community in many ways. All items do not remain in the store. Some are passed on to other organizations! Here are some places we have been able to support in the last year!
Please note: We accept donations only during hours that Cornerstone is open!

Cornerstone is a non-profit thrift store that supports the missions of the church such as our community food pantry, sandwiches for Dorothy Day House, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, and much more.

Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful donors and shoppers!
Please note: We will be closed Dec. 24th and reopen January 3rd to give our volunteers some much needed rest- please no donations during that time.
We hope you have a wonderful holiday!
If you are looking for a Christmas Eve Service, Newtown Congregational Church, UCC has 2 to choose from!
5:00PM- A family friendly service for all ages with a nod to Charlie Brown with music, Christmas Carols and a Christmas Pageant.
11:15PM- a quiet and reflective service that celebrates the Light of Christ, Communion is offered, and Christmas is welcomed.
All are welcome here!

We accept Cash Only, no bills larger than $20, and we do collect sales tax
In case of inclement weather, we follow Newtown Schools Schedule- if they close, we close. If they are delayed, we are delayed.
Please note: We will be closed Dec. 24th and reopen January 3rd to give our volunteers some much needed rest- please no donations during that time.
