In addition a typical stack of great and clean $10 - $30 jams going out today, there are a couple of sexier, harder-to-find-in-this-condition-in-the-wild pieces as well.

(If you are lucky you might even catch a glimpse of the legendary Bill Sebastian, architect of the OVC aka Outerspace Visual Communicator, mad scientist-ing on the premises in the afternoon…)

This new Wicked Local feature turned out great and is very much appreciated. I need all the help I can get to let people know about their future favorite vinyl spot.

Thanks to writer Ruth Thompson and photographer Art Illman.

Most easily viewed on my website's Press page: https://www.rootforus.net/press

But isn’t the way you are treated during the selling process something that should count just as much? We believe it is. (And, for the record, we do pay top prices for the right collections).

Met a very interesting couple last night — Sue and Bob — who live near the store and who are also regular .dispo customers. They had some very cool pieces from their open-eared 60s and 70s hifi adventures that I brought back to life. Love it when that happens…

Highlights from the funky mix of clean OGs hitting the bins today.

There is also still plenty of tasty reggae and hip-hop from last week’s drops.

Thursday - Sunday, ready and willing.

If you like the reggae and/or the rap, I have some solid and clean goodies for ya.

This is batch 1 of 2, hitting Friday noon.

Many of these are from the collection of the estimable Dr. Murray Forman, music scholar, author and educator who recently retired from Northeastern after many years of service to the youth of America, and beyond.

ROOT FOR US is open through Sunday, come by and shake a tail feather. Free Parking up the ying and it smells good, too. (Thanks Redi!)

We have a pretty sweet stack of shockingly clean, graduate level reggae in the house, hitting today. More than 1.5 crates of late '70s through mid-'80s 12-inches, to add to the box of 7" we put out last week. Here are some 12" highlights. Still going through it all, but you can do so with me.

To add to the heat, a great package of .nyc goods just landed, with mostly new reissues and a restock or two. (Details towards the end of the video). This label keeps getting better and better, and we are always thrilled to stock their stuff.

Open Thurs - Sun, would love to see ya!!!!! We are Boston metro's grooviest little vinyl spot and loving the ride so far.
