Feeling everything so deeply is only a sign that you’re truly human. It’s not something you can change about yourself either. You can even try to become heartless but it won’t last because that’s not who you are.

Having a good heart will attract people who will want to take advantage of you but that’s why you need to learn to say NO and set clear boundaries with everyone.

Many people have allowed the circumstances of life to change the goodness of their hearts, but when you remain unmoved by the ugliness of the people in this world, and choose to keep being human, my friend, that’s powerful.
