Dear Friends and Patrons
After close to 70 years we are now closed.
We are moving the last items out of the store today and early tomorrow. We still have 3 bookcases and a few individual of our famous pine book shelves (boxes) and a 70 year old library table that is 8x4. They are FREE. if your interested come on down. Iknow there is a school out there that can use them.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and patronage, Alas it wasn't enough to keep the wolves away. We do have a go fund me page up but haven;t raised even 10 % of what we need, but it will help the closing. We will try desprately to find a new location, (smaller) that has foot traffic, and with our now very low overhead (in normal times) we should be ok. I am also looking for a partner or partners to help keep this ICON alive. including creating a community book store with lots of participants.

Sad news. We will be ceasing operations at this location at the end of next week. We are seeking a new location, but have to be out of this one by August 31.

Come by and see us. Share your memories. Say goodbye, for now.

We are discounting all in stock new titles and merchandise 30% off of the retail price. We also have a selection of inexpensive used and remainder books.

We will be moving out of the Marshall's plaza by August 31st
not sure where we will end up but we will be in smaller quarters so we are selling a lot of store fixtures.
4X 8 blackboards that use eraseable markers, book cases, hotbpoint refrigerator (only 2 years old) and other items come check them out
