It’s a rainy day here at 3 Dog Design Company, so what better time to slow down, get cozy, and enjoy a little history?

🎙️ In 1877, Thomas Edison made his first successful sound recording using a prototype phonograph with a tinfoil sheet. His experiment proved that sound could be recorded and played back—a remarkable idea that helped change the way we preserve memories.

And isn’t that what we love about quilting, too? ❤️

We take pieces of fabric, old T-shirts, favorite designs, and memories and turn them into something you can enjoy for years. Instead of recording a moment in sound, we preserve it in fabric, thread, and stitches. 🧵🪡
