Some designs are simple in concept but all about the technique... and this one definitely kept me practicing! 💙🤍

This custom cookie for the future Mrs. Jillian McGuinness featured a soft light blue background with navy lettering and a beautiful ribbon border. That ribbon technique took several practice runs before I was happy with it, but seeing it all come together made every attempt worth it!

A huge thank you to for the inspiration and tutorial that helped me learn this gorgeous piping technique. There's always something new to master in the cookie world, and I love pushing myself to keep learning and growing.

Newport awaits... 🤍🌊🌉

There's something so special about creating cookies that tell a story.

This custom cookie set was designed for a bride with a "Newport Awaits" theme, featuring the iconic Claiborne Pell Bridge in classic navy and white. Every single suspension cable on the bridge was hand-piped—a painstaking detail that made this set one of my favorite designs to create!

Fun fact: The Claiborne Pell Bridge spans nearly 2 miles across Narragansett Bay and, when it opened in 1969, it became the longest suspension bridge in New England. Today, it's one of Rhode Island's most recognizable landmarks—and the perfect inspiration for a custom cookie set.

Small businesses deserve great protection... and great cupcakes. 💙🧁

I had so much fun creating this corporate order for Berxi, the small commercial insurance company from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance! The centerpiece cupcake board was designed to recreate their logo (always a fun challenge!), and the coordinating regular and mini cupcakes were decorated in shades of blue and white to match their branding—making sure there were plenty of cupcakes for everyone to enjoy.

Corporate events don't have to be boring. Branded desserts are a fun way to celebrate your team, impress clients, or add a memorable touch to meetings and special events.

This Fair Isle-inspired birthday cake was designed for a knitter whose friends wanted to celebrate the creativity she brings to every stitch. Creating cakes that reflect the people they're made for is one of my favorite parts of this job!

After two weeks in Togo 🇹🇬 (plus a quick two-day trip to Ghana 🇬🇭), I'm finally home! It was such a refreshing break and exactly the time away from the kitchen that I needed. There's something so good about stepping away for a bit—you come back with fresh ideas, renewed energy, and an even greater appreciation for what you love.

One of my favorite things to do whenever I travel is wander through local grocery stores. It's such a fun glimpse into everyday life! I couldn't resist snapping a few photos of the baking aisle (cake mixes everywhere!) and noticing just how many Nutella and chocolate hazelnut spread options there were. And then... Cookie Monsta cookies at checkout? 😂 Those definitely caught my eye.

Travel always reminds me that while ingredients and brands may change, the joy of baking is universal. ❤️ Now it's time to unpack, rest a little more, and get back to creating in the kitchen!

A Bluey-themed birthday calls for a cake that's just as special as the celebration! This one was made for Laurel's birthday and featured layers of vanilla cake filled with freshly made-from-scratch raspberry filling.

Sweet, simple, and packed with flavor, it's hard to imagine a better combination than fluffy vanilla cake and bright, homemade raspberry filling. The perfect centerpiece for a Bluey-filled birthday celebration!

🚛 Has everyone seen Trash Truck on Netflix?

These cookies were made for my nephew's second birthday, and from what I've been told, it's pretty much the greatest show ever created... at least if you're into trucks! 😄

Featuring Trash Truck and his friends, this set was the perfect way to celebrate a truck-loving birthday boy. I may not be a preschool truck expert, but after making these cookies, I can definitely see the appeal!
