The Creation Station We are your local source for yarns, needles, notions, all kinds of fiber fun! We are located in The Chisholm Trail Center on the south side of Newton Kansas.

(Exit 28 on I-135). We offer knitting and crochet yarns as well as notions and other yarn needs. Come check out our wide array of fibers, price points as well as yarns from our beautiful indie dyers. We welcome you to stop in and enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere you can only find in an independently-owned shop. Fathers Day weekend I will be celebrating my dad’s 90th birthday. Therefore, I will be closed Sat, June 20. Enjoy time with the dad in your life.

I will also be closing early next Sat, June 27 (1:30ish) so I can enjoy some grandma privileges and watch 2 of my girls perform in the Hesston College Theatre Camp production.

SECOND SATURDAY!!!

Unfortunately our national brand distributor was not able to come to contract terms with Premier Yarns and has discontinued the entire line. What I have is all I have. I have reached out to the company directly but it does not look like I will be able to get a wholesale account. 😢

SO… we are discounting all Premier yarns 20% beginning on Saturday, June 13. Get in early for best selection! Remember, this includes all Chenille yarns as well as the anti-pill acrylics. All discounted yarns have been moved to the back wall to make shopping the sale easier. Reminder - Saturday hours are 10-3.

Meet the newest Pop-Up color in Smooshy Cashmere. Playing in Puddles. Come meet this colorway in person on Saturday, March 28 as we finish up our month of celebration! Join us today, March 21, for our next special event as we continue to celebrate our 20 years in business!
Beginning about 1:00pm this afternoon Christince will be joining us with some tips on knitting. Come pick up a few pointers on fixing mistakes or maybe ask questions about something you struggle with. (Just maybe we can turn this into a semi-regular fixture!) Come enjoy some treats and fellowship, ask a few questions and pick up yarns for your next project. Remember, the entire store is still 10% off through Saturday March 28.

Next week Kim will return to showcase our Sample-It loom from Ashford. We have it all warped up and ready to create a lovely scarf.
