📣 OKAY… THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG ONE, BUT A GOOD ONE! 🕯️🌊

First things first — WE MOVED!

Since June, we’ve been working behind the scenes on our new home at:

📍 4910 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes, VA
in the White Marsh Shopping Center, where Mood Snacks used to be!

And YES… our sign will FINALLY be up by Saturday! 🙌

That sign has been a whole other struggle 😂, but thanks to a local company out of Mathews, Hudgins Sign Co., it will finally be going up this week! Zach has been absolutely PHENOMENAL throughout the process, and I cannot recommend him enough for your signage needs.

Now… onto what you’ve REALLY been waiting for.

🕯️ THE MAKER STUDIO IS HERE!

We are officially launching our Maker Studio, and this is something we have been so excited to bring to Coastal Virginia!

The best part?

No reservation needed.

Walk in, pick what you want to make, choose your fragrance, and create your own product right here in the store.

And when we say you can make just about anything we make, we mean it:

Well, baby… FALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. 🎃🍎🍁

And as soon as those doors swing open, FALL DROPS.

We have a couple of brand-new fragrances coming your way, along with some returning favorites that we know some of y’all have been waiting for. 👀

But one of the BIGGEST changes is our candles themselves.

The old jars are officially gone.

Those jars have been with us since we started this crazy journey back in 2018, so saying goodbye to them is definitely bittersweet. But after eight years, we decided it was time for an upgrade.

Our candles will now be available in THREE sizes:

Partner Picks are handcrafted, locally made products created right here in Coastal Virginia that we have personally hand-selected for the store.

These are the little things that help elevate your space and give it that extra emhhh… something. 😂

Or maybe it’s something you didn’t even know you needed until you saw it.

Like a candle coaster, handmade right here in Gloucester, Virginia.

Our goal is for Partner Picks to give other local makers a place to showcase what they do while giving you a chance to discover some incredible products made right here in our own community.

There is SO MUCH happening behind those doors, and we cannot wait for you to finally see what we’ve been working on.

Hey Coasties! 🌊🕯️

We’ve been keeping a little secret…

For the past 8 weeks, we’ve been working behind the scenes designing, planning, dreaming, measuring, reworking layouts, and imagining what the next chapter of Coastal Virginia Candle Co. could look like.

And I can officially say that as of May 19, 2026, we secured the lease to a larger space right here in Gloucester! 🥹

Our current shop has been such a special part of our journey. We love it, and we are truly going to miss our neighbors at Four P's In A Pod and Bridgewater’s Salon & Spa an Aveda Concept Salon. But the truth is… we’ve outgrown it.

This new space is just over 2,100 square feet, and it is going to give us the room to grow into everything we’ve been dreaming about.

The new store will feature interactive fragrance-making stations where you’ll be able to come in anytime, no reservation needed, and create your own candles, carpet freshener, room sprays, reed diffusers, and more home fragrance items coming in the future.

We’ll also have a dedicated space for our Pour + Sip classes, along with a larger sales floor so you can shop all your favorite Coastal Virginia Candle Co. products in a space that feels welcoming, coastal, creative, and completely us.

This move is such a huge step for our little company, and we are so thankful for every single person who has supported us, shopped with us, shared our posts, taken a class, told a friend, or cheered us on along the way. This interactive store has been a dream of ours since 2018, and it's right around the corner.

So what does this look like? Over the next week or so, you will see the Hickory Fork Rd. location wind down. Online sales will be suspended, but only temporarily, as we have to pack up the current space, and move everything over. We will turn online orders back on as soon as we can, even if it's before we open back up.

During this process, we're also transitioning to a new Point of Sale software and new online ordering platform, what does that look like for you, well nothing really. All of your loyalty points will be transferred over to the new system. For online ordering you will be given the option to soon split your total into monthly installments.

We cannot wait to welcome you into the new space soon.

Don’t worry — it’s still the same great product you know and love, just with a new look! As we make the switch, you may notice a mix of our current labels and new labels in-store and online.
