Perfect November morning. Many thanks to a stranger on the beach who snapped this pic.Had good early morning action, went back to how It started for me and caught all on an olive mambo minnow. Was always my favorite go to bait and lately I pushed it aside for throwing wood. Going to finish November with one on the rod every trip. ,

Great night at the Narragansett Surfcasters meeting. The legend Al Gag as guest speaker- Al has been a trusted friend and mentor to me since the mid 1990’s, introducing me to surf fishing. He truly is deserving of his induction into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame.

Fall beach season is here!!! Heading to RI tonight to be on the beach. This is my new surf machine- always wanted a Quigley Van. Busy Spring and Summer building it out, had plenty of time since the as****es at the hospital closed my school and left me “retired”. F**k it, I will be on the beach starting Saturday (Watch Hill). Swing by and visit, throw some plugs, and hang out.

2023 Surf Day at Narragansett Surfcasters- another great show put on by a top notch organization. Bruce. Joe, and all the club members who worked tirelessly to make sure both the customers and vendors were taken care of. A great turn out as usual, with both my regular customers and a lot of new faces.

Batch of 20 “Painkiller Jr.” poppers heading to the Narragansett Surfcasters event on Sept 15th at 4pm- Veterans Fishing Day- an incredible event where veterans learn surf fishing from the best, most charitable club in the northeast. Will be at Scarborough Beach in Narragansett. Every Vet gets to keep plugs, rods reels, everything to go out and fish. Club members are present to teach and guide them to the surf. Can’t wait for this event. Contact Narragansett Surfcasters for more info- see you there!!!!
