Hi everyone, it's been about 4 years ;)

Two little girls later, I'm finally finding time (sort of) for me to pick up my needles again. Between being mom, and starting up my own skin care business a year ago, life has just been busy!

For those new to my page, welcome! For those who have been around, thanks so much for your support and appreciation of my craft!

I spent the better part of yesterday taking inventory of my yarns and needles. And when you are a knitter, you undoubtedly own everything from really expensive yarn to $1 store finds. It was really overwhelming! But the first thing I decided I need to do is start to tackle some of the projects I bought certain yarns for. Namely the most expensive project I had in queue, Lion Brand's Color Rich Simple Knit Afghan.

This project really caught my eye about two years ago. It calls for about 28 different skeins of yarn, and most of those are now discontinued. I realized, as I was going through my stash, I did not have the purple color I needed, but found and purchased it on Ebay. The afghan is comprised of a bunch of strips knitted individually, then sewn together. I started knitting the first strip yesterday, and now found out I am missing a couple skeins of the other colors. I have no idea why I did not order everything I needed a couple years ago!

But now it's...game on 😂 and I will find the missing yarn to complete this blanket. Stay tuned for afghan progress!

I've been sort of taking a hiatus from knitting, but Spring is finally here, and with it, another Itty Bitty hat!

I decided to graft two 84 stitch pieces together by Kitchener stitch - why?????

So true. For me, it is easier to help someone after they have learned the basics from someone else :)

I've been REALLY busy this Fall!! Here's the latest I knitted up for a friend's new baby. I've said it a million times already, but I could not be happier for her. I love the colors and the way this turned out!

Charlotte also tested out a new hat!

This was a test knit. It came out a bit too small for its intended audience, but Harry and Owly were willing subjects.

Hi everyone! I recently added reviews to my page. If you have received or purchased a knit from me, and are happy with my work, could you please take a moment to share your positive review? The reviews tab is at the top of the page, three tabs over from the Timeline link below the cover photo. Thank you in advance, I appreciate it!
