Customer favorite buttons from Italy are back in stock! They include buffalo horn buttons, corozo buttons, and a few of our most-requested colors/finishes in plastic buttons. Also one toggle that’s made of bonded leather and real buffalo horn. Size-wise, we now have 20 Line buttons in stock in our most popular corozo styles and colors, for modern shirt makers who prefer that size to the more traditional 18 Line. And for people making overcoats who want a more statement-making size than the traditional 40 or 44 Line, top favorite Braden button is now in a 54 Line. And since some of the original suppliers making these went out of business in recent years, some are made to match the originals that were missed and others are just close matches. Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈 Our custom-printed Love is Love is Love elastic is always a hit! Here it is on boxers made by , the elastic with our Banda Boo sliders and buckles (which make it great for under-bust bands or belts), and ‘s dress made entirely from Bias Bespoke elastics, based on a Herve Leger bandage-style dress!

By customer request! Now we have 7 sizes of bra hooks, rings and sliders (for straps from 1/4” to 1” wide) in Gold, Silver, Black and White, and that’s in addition to 4-6 sizes in Rainbow, Red, Rose Gold and 2 in Buttercream. Woo! What’s next?! 😍

Bias Bespoke is under a blizzard, as so many in the Northeast are!! ❄️☃️🙏 We’re back at work today, and shipping orders as quickly as we can, but there may be some delays! I’ve written to everyone who ordered over the weekend about this, and have had a barrage of kind emails back in response 🥹, wishing us to stay safe above all else. It’s so fun to hear when our customers are happy about something they got from us!! Here’s a review we noticed on our Etsy shop, and the pic she posted of her corset. ❤️ Before working at Bias Bespoke, I thought people generally only took time to reach out to a company or write a review when they had a negative experience, but I’ve happily discovered that’s just not true!! We get just as many people writing to tell us that they love something they purchased from us, or the shipping g was so fast, or that they appreciate our customer service as we get people telling us about a shipping problem or something that’s not right with an order - and sometimes we can even turn the problems around to positive experiences, which feels quite satisfying. 🙏

We’re proud to present new tailor’s thimbles by Locke! They’re designed and cast in bronze by Jamie Locke in New Zealand, a tailoring student who found it difficult to find thimbles in the quality and sizes he wanted, so he went on a multi-year journey to make them! They currently come in twelve sizes from 13.5mm to 19mm, and we have them in Bronze and Nickel-Plated. Read more about them and buy them at www.BiasBespoke.com

Artur’s a big fan of the metal safety ruler we sell at Bias Bespoke, which has rubber on the bottom to hold it in place, and a hinged edge that comes up to protect fingers when cutting! Also the blades, rotary cutters and self-healing mats. He uses them all the time when working with leather. Find them all at www.biasbespoke.com 🧵Here, he’s cutting strips for bound buttonholes. We have souffle! We discovered that it had gotten very challenging to find souffle fabric - for sheer but strong support that has the look of bare skin - and so we are very happy to be carrying it now! We’re starting with three colors: a medium tan, a dark tan/brown, and a dark color that’s partway between brown and burgundy. They’re not in any of our sample books yet, but if you send us an email (to [email protected]) we’d be happy to mail you a sample! Here’s Karina and Artur saying Hi from part of our new-ish warehouse in Newark, NJ. 👋
In May 2024, we moved Bias Bespoke from Manhattan to New Jersey in order to get more space, as we’d *completely* run out! (We couldn’t even find more “creative spaces” as New Yorkers are so good at seeing the possibility in. 😂) Happy that we’ve been able to find a pretty reliable — usually-next-day — way to still do Local Pickups of Bias Bespoke orders, at our tailor shop in Manhattan. Nice to get to still interact with some of you locals and travelers picking up your orders there!!
