Each month I will bring you a curated collection of art wrapped up in a hopeful pro-Black, Pro-Queer liberal progressive feminist perspective to support your survival and self care during this dreadful time.

Much like the different songs on a DIY cut & paste mixtape, this virtual community will be filled with original handmade collage art, family-friendly acts of resistance that are both joyful and impactful, and women’s health advocacy and resources from an activist mother who has walked through hell and back and is ready to share her story. It’s the monthly visitor you actually look forward to.

We are homestudy approved! What does that mean? We are in the domestic infant adoption process and that requires months of work and mountains of paperwork in order to get licensed to parent. We took 20 hours of foster training, 20 hours of adoption training, a CPR class, a water safety course, and we’ve tackled more paperwork than in our entire lives combined. The final result is we are homestudy approved, which means we can now connect with our adoption agency and start creating our parent profile.
