Please join Aeon in welcoming two incredibly special poets, Mei-mei Berssenbrugge & Cecilia Vicuña, who will present some of their work on November 14 in celebration of this gem of an anthology “Other Influences,” just published by

This anthology, edited by Jennifer Firestone and Marcella Durand, illuminates the shapes of a feminist avant garde tradition through meaningful considerations of influence in first person essays by over 25 of the most influential and dynamic female poets of the past century.

Aeon is so grateful to host this event !!! Copies of the anthology as well as many individual books by each poet will be available for sale. I have begun to gather some very special related second hand materials as well ;) Our gathering begins at 7pm, space will be limited, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Hey facebook - I often neglect this medium in posting about the store in favor of Instagram but here goes: Last Friday the store shut down all in-store operations until things become clearer. It may 1-2 weeks or it may be more.

The closing of our doors is devastating but I will try to keep faith that Aeon will find a way through it. In the meantime I have begun to move inventory online here:
