New Burgundy Arrivals from Domaine de Mauperthuis
 We recently had the pleasure of meeting Laurent and Marie-Noëlle Ternynck at Salon des Vins de Loire and spending some time together. That wasn’t enough—we later stayed a night at their winery, where we experienced firsthand how their wines come to life and toured the estate. 
After tasting through their lineup, we couldn’t resist bringing two of their wines back to the shop: the Saint-Bris and the Petit Chablis. 
We’ll be featuring both this weekend—stop by for a taste. 
🌿Domaine de Mauperthuis Saint-Bris 2023 🌿 Fresh and vibrant, with notes of citrus, lemon zest, and a hint of green herbs. Light-bodied with crisp acidity and a bright mineral edge, finishing clean and zesty. 
🌿Domaine de Mauperthuis Petit Chablis 2023🌿 Bright and elegant, with lemon, green melon, and subtle floral notes layered over classic Chablis minerality. Light, fresh, and delicately textured with a crisp, refreshing finish.

🌺 Celebrating Women’s History Month 🌺 Featuring a female Winemaker, Areyna, Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza, Argentina. The nose shows subtle aromas of fig, cassis, and dark fruits while the mouth is rich with notes of chocolate and spices. Aromas of currants, berries and hints of fresh herbs. Full-bodied, juicy and lightly jammy.
🍷 Casarena is forging a different path from the other wineries in Mendoza. Instead of searching for undiscovered terroirs in new places like the Uco Valley, it is discovering the hidden gems in its home region of Lujan de Cuyo—a place full of rich tradition, potential, and unique micro-terroirs. Casarena has purchased as well as planted vineyards in several distinctive sites, and they control all aspects of winegrowing and winemaking in order to maximize the flavor expression of these terroirs.

🌺 Celebrate Women’s History Month 💋 JI JI JI CHENIN BLANC 2021 - Female Winemaker. Grapefruit, green apple, and lemon, racy and vibrant palette, generous acidity, fresh finish. - Gen del Alma was started in 2012 by winemaker Andrea Mufatto and her husband Gerardo Michelini of Zorzal. Andrea and Gerardo have bought land and planted vines in multiple areas of northern Mendoza; their focal concept is to showcase purity, minerality, and freshness through blends and practices unique to Argentina. Their minimal vinification process allows the fruit to shine on its own. Their winery is located in the town of Tupungato and is comprised of concrete eggs, barrique, foudre, and amphoras. NATURAL. LOW SULFITE. VEGAN. ORGANIC. FEMALE WINEMAKER.

Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!!

Beaujolais Nouveau is a fruity, light-bodied red wine made from Gamay grapes that’s meant to be enjoyed fresh and young🍷

Dating back to at least the 1800s, Beaujolais Nouveau was used to celebrate the year’s vintage and was drunk by vineyard workers who were celebrating the end of the hard-work of harvesting. 🍇

Officially, Beaujolais Nouveau is released at 12:01 AM on the third Thursday of November
