Small memorial to Clayworks cropped up on the 9 1A block last week. Remember, if you chip a plate or need something new, contact me on FB or email. I’ve still got some stock remaining and would love to help you out!

For any of you who couldn’t make the block party and still want to pick up a piece or two (before I return everything to storage), I will have the remaining work until Thursday am. It will still be available, but it might take a little longer to get it back from storage. 212-677-8311, call, msg, text, etc!

I’d like to thank all of you who came by my table at yesterday’s 91A Block Party! It was a pleasure to see each of you, and have a bit of time to chat and catch up. I am grateful for all the support you’ve shown me past, present, and hopefully future as well. A great day in the East Village was had by all!
Here’s me and my excellent pal, Mr. Bill, without whose help throughout the day I would have been lost. You rock, Bill! And shoutout to Margaret who saved the day for the first 4 hours or there might not have been a last 4 hours. Is there anything that woman can’t do? Nope. She does it all!❤️

Hello all!
Clayworks returns for a day, at the 9th Street Block Party, between First Avenue and Avenue A, on Sept. 14th from 11-5pm. I will be bringing an assortment of my work from storage to you, so if there is anything in particular you are interested in seeing, feel free to let me know. If I can't find it, carry it, or fit it on the table, we can make other arrangements for meeting and purchasing. Except for mugs. There are no more mugs. I know. It's sad, but people, you bought them all!
But there's lots of other nice stuff, in storage, and at my table, so come on down to the fair and say hi. I look forward to seeing you all!

On a chilly morning last May, the store owners of East Ninth Street got together for a group photo, as a sort of homage to the famous photo ‘A Great Day in Harlem’ by Art Kane (1958). This project was the inspired idea of Santo Mollica, the owner of The Source, our fabulous full service copy shop plus hub for neighborhood news and info. A thankless task, akin to herding cats, to get us all together, was easily managed by Santo, mostly because we all love and respect him and Margaret so very much!
Here’s the result-look at us! Are we not a fine looking group of entrepreneurs?
I’m in the second row from the bottom on the stairs, first one on the left. As physical store owner emeritus, as well as resident, I’m proud to be included here. I’m still selling my work from my 9th Street corner office at The Bean, so call or text Clayworks at (212) 677-8311 to see what’s available!
