Such a pleasure speaking at The New York School of Interior Design and sharing my philosophy on Ode to Color, The Ten Essential Palates for Living and Design. It first originated as a book, then became a multi sensory exhibit in Venice, and is now a lecture and activation designed to ignite how people think about and use color in their lives. I am grateful to serve as a resource and be part of the conversation.

Behind the scenes at our studio, we always begin the design process with the hands, where ideas first take shape. Lately, we’ve been loving the use of gold leaf paper to create a metallic, elegant color story.
From the Alchemy chapter in my Ode to Color book:
“It is the understated branch of the gold family: impressive without trying too hard, confident without being showy, yet every bit as noble as its flashier cousins that are so highly reflective.”
