For most of her life she has been really shy and has always made a concerted effort to avoid the spotlight. Often times, anxiety and doubt have engulfed her mental space. Pouring the mixed soap into molds. Had to move quickly with this mixture because the essential oil blend tends to thicken the soap rather quickly.

The soap will settle in a cool dry place for about 24-48 hours before unmolding.

Enjoying the simple things in life.

Watching the lye solution mix with the oils is probably one of the most satisfying parts of making soap!

It usually takes about a minute or so for the the mixture to come together. And you officially have soap! It’s so important to handle wet soap with caution and care so you do not hurt yourself. It will all be worth it in the end.

The oil mixture used includes, olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, apricot oil, and some mango butter for extra skin conditioning properties.

Happy Saturday loves 💛💛💛

Danielle here 🥰. This week I’ve been really under the weather but I decided to make some of my favorite soap which not only smells amazing but really aids in boosting your mood!

What you will see demonstrated here is frozen Oatmilk chunks being melted by sodium hydroxide lye. Usually if I am making a soap with a milk base, I’ll freeze it to make the lye solution cool faster.

You will also notice that the solution changes color completely to a deep orange. The mixture is also thicker than usual! This is uncommon but very interesting to see!
